Manscaped 3.0 Not Working (Here’s What to Do)

If your asking yourself why is my manscaped 3.0 not working, then you’re in the right place for answers.

In this guide… we’ll go over the secret reason most Manscape 3.0 trimmers don’t turn on.

Why manscaped 3.0 trimmers lose their charge and the truth about manscaped and the quality of their products.

With that said, let’s get into it.

Why is my manscaped 3.0 not working

Your manscaped 3.0 may not work for a few reasons, which could be:

  • Water damage
  • Broken Charger
  • Travel lock

Let’s get into some possible solutions.

Manscaped 3.0 Not Turning On

Let’s target low-hanging fruits.

If you press the power button on your manscaped trimmer and it doesn’t turn on then most likely your trimmers are locked.

If the lights on your manscaped rise but your trimmer won’t turn on, it means it’s locked, to unlock it, you need to do this:

Quickly tap the power button 3 times or hold the power button down, then tap it 3 times

Then you will see the Led lights start moving down, This means your manscaped are unlocked and now ready for use.

Just tap the power button one more time and your trimmers should now turn on.

This is the 4.0 but the same concept applies.

Lawnmower 3.0 Not Working

Now if your manscaped 3.0 aren’t charging the problem could be internal or it could be external.

Firstly, it could be with the charger and the trimmer aren’t securely connected to one another.

A loose connection could mean a loose connection between your manscaped and your charger.

If the connection is secure and your trimmers still won’t charge or you don’t see a light response from your trimmers, it could be to the charging pins within the trimmer

You may need to give them a clean as debris can build up around them, causing them to lose connection with your dock.

To do this, you need to dissemble your trimmer, check for damage and clean them out.

This video shows the process of dissembling your charging pins

Take out the pins and wipe them down.

Do the same for the pin receptors ensuring only the receptor, not the board, is being wiped down.

If possible, scrape off any debris that is on the pins or receptors

Place your pins and receptors back in your manscaped trimmer and test them out.

If after cleaning and cleaning the charging pins, your trimmers still don’t charge then the problem could now be with your charger itself.

Check the power outlet and make sure electricity is coming out.

Then check your cable for scoring and major damage.

If you notice any, especially to the end (where it charges), you may need to look to get a new dock, as it won’t it possibly may not be delivering enough power to charge your trimmers.

Manscaped doesn’t sell individual chargers but this charger below should work:

Extra: While your trimmers are open, take a look at your battery.

Check if it’s still in good condition.

If you notice corrosion or rusting then that could be another culprit as to why your trimmers don’t work.

In this case, you may need to replace your trimmers entirely.

unfortunately, manscape has welded-on batteries, so to safely put new batteries onto your Manscape trimmer, you’d need new AA batteries and full welding expertise..

Unless you are a diehard Manscaped fan, you’re better off contacting Manscaped to look for a replacement or opt-in for new trimmers.

If you have a charging dock, what you could do is completely unplug it and leave it for a few days until the battery runs flat then plug it back in and see if the dock itself recharges.

If it doesn’t you could look to get a new dock (as long as the problem isn’t with the trimmer) .

Now after all of this, if your manscaped trimmers still don’t want to work for you then in my honest opinion, contact manscaped for a refund.

If you purchased with Amazon and you had problems with your trimmers within 30 days, get in contact with Amazon and look for a return refund.

Manscaped 3.0 light on but not working

If everything on your trimmers seems fine but they won’t turn on, it could be due to your power button.

You could have dirt or the button may be jammed, remove the casing as shown in the video and check the button area.

Make sure it’s clean and make sure everything is securely in place.

If everything is fine and Everything Is fine then once again, try and contact Manscaped to look for a replacement trimmer/ upgrade to the 4.0 lawnmower

manscaped 3.0 water damage

Although the 3.0 are heavily marketed to be waterproof, don’t use them in water.

Keep them out of the shower and far away from the water.

There have been many cases where water has easily entered manscaped trimmers and fried the internal components, especially the battery as shown below:

If your internal components are done, due to manscaped having an exclusive patented build, you be hard-pressed to find replacement parts let alone get them fitted incorrectly.

Look to contact Manscaped for new trimmers from trusted companies such as Braun and Phillips who produce quality trimmers.

And grab them from a Platform such as Amazon, were you have the chance to test the tool, if it’s not for you, simply return it at no cost to you.
